goodnight folks back on tour
in time for Paddy's Day weekend, we start again fully. Here are initial reactions to:
for folk music you're never too young

Das Quintett to Martinsburg Wood (mandolin), Benjamin Feldman (vocals, guitar), Christian Pieper (bass, vocals), Dirk Wade Mann (accordion) and Hinnerk Will Brink (vocals, guitar, banjo, mandolin) divided his concert in three different phases.
Slow works
Phase one was a good mix of slow works and songs, which aroused the audience early on.
Two German folk songs, the love song "Dat du min Leefe bust" and the "Steiger song," a traditional song of the miners provided for the sentimental touch in the first third.
Gassenhauer
shone after the break, the quintet with phase two, which now brought the faster variants. With "Fisherman's Blues" from the Waterboys and Clare Iceland from the "Saw Doctors" it presented a real street song. But his own compositions such as "Kia orana," "Angels" and "Farewell Song" convinced the audience.
The last part of the concert provided then again for a marked increase. This of course could not miss the famous Evergreen "Whiskey In The Jar" by Thin Lizzy.
The young and exuberant playfulness of the quintet, which was seasoned with the right touch of sentimentality, met the nerve of the public.
