Holly Willoughby Birthday Cake Where From

News - Brazil

Hello friends,

Finally it is and we can tell you from our first days in
Brazil.
Am 02.01. So are we arrived in Recife and were picked up at the local airport
Luciano (our Brasilianischlehrer) and his girlfriend Nadine
. The two already had a hotel room for us
booked and so was not hard getting used to. After the first Brazilian
lunch we were then already on the beach and drank beer
.
evening we went to Luciano's home district - a relatively poor area. In the Bar do Peixe
directly on the beach was quickly put together a few tables
and a friend of Luciano served us beer and
something to eat. Shortly thereafter we found ourselves on a samba party with live music
. Great!
The next few days we spent in Recife with small guided tours
by Luciano, eat, drink beer and visit different beaches
. For example, the Praia do Gaibu, about 40 km from Recife
, we visited with Luciano's mother. The interesting thing was that
we took the bus there. For the outward journey we needed
already 2 1 / 2 hours, where we sat sweating in the crowded bus
total. The return trip we spent standing, as all seats were occupied
. After repeated transfer and prying eyes of the Brazilians
as normal from their work back home
went, we were completely worn back to the hotel.
Another, very quiet day at the beach we spent on Ita
Maraca, a tiny island. Lindo Luciano's cousin had arranged a car
and accompanied us there. Something we both still
not seen. Water, Water, palm trees leaned and small
into the sea crabs, which suddenly peeping out of holes in the sand. (Photos to follow)

Am 06.01. we leave for a trip to Recife Rua Concordia
. In this street there are many music stores, and after two hours of shopping
we sat with four large pockets, two small
backpacks, a guitar and a violin in our rental car, the
the size of a Vauxhall Corsa.
was the morning I (Sophia) with Luciano organize the rental car, which
expired something like this: From the hotel by bus to the airport - looking for a cheap rent-
someone at the gas station to ask - the
attendant calls to someone - comes after 5 minutes - the car offers what he
is too expensive - a taxi driver comes to, he also calls jem on
- whose car is better (85 Reals per day So about 40 €) - he brings us to the leasing and
describes driving on Brazil's streets as
guerra - fighting what it really is !!!!- in
hire taxi drivers and owners talk about their friends / acquaintances
/ relatives in Germany - almost everyone here really has
- then does the Visa card reader-not the landlord
phone around to find out how he can get back fast -
nothing happens - we decide to pay cash - are running around, looking
a bank to pay find them, and finally drive away by car -
breaks, however, can still drive off before Luciano, the leverage of his
window lift off .... tja running as this one, each quatscht with everyone helping each
each, unfortunately, we can still not enough Portuguese to use the
also be able to, but who knows, one probably. it is almost time!)

We drove along the coast north and arrived at 20:00 in against
Genipabu, a small resort near Natal. There was
incredible! Our pousada (inn) was on a huge dune
(about 20-30m) that I (Beni) the next morning as yet all were asleep
mounted the first time. I was offered a fantastic view
. On one side of the beach, palm trees and nothing but sea, the other
the impressive skyline of Natal .. Once again there was
Beni, we got it all together up the dunes
. Since "bad weather" and teased it several times heavy rain, dressed
Nadine and I (Sophia), and our first Brazilian
shopped at many levels in the dunes. The Dunas de Genipabu
are indeed protected area, but are still populated by the usual tourist attractions
. Buggy (beach vehicles) driving around tourists
camels and horses have to carry them. As have we would rather
indulged in one days on the beach with awesome waves, drinking caipirinha and played backgammon! In the evening we came

with the staff of the pousada in conversation, the
live there himself. A couple of the same age as Beni and I, however
already with child-the little Gabriel, who questioned us totally curious
... Another couple with two children came to this. He (Wilton) is
nurses and they (Luciana) social worker (What a coincidence;).
They offered us to show us the next day the area. No sooner said than done! After
yet, Sergio and Vania, a couple were to hit around 60
was the round completely and we were with
two cars full of meat, bread, cheese, beer, cola, water, etc. on the way to explore the
northeast.
We drove from some hidden attractions of the area because the family is well versed
. We saw a small waterfall in the cave
families with table and chairs were in knee-deep water
and beer drinking.
then a lake, into which one could slide with a kind of cable car from about 30 m height
into the water and eventually we went to a nearby water
park where we were almost the only visitors
. There we were preparing our own churrasco (grilled meat),
picking mangoes from the trees next to the barbecue and
roasted just picked cashew kernels on the BBQ (you knew
sits that the cashew nut on a fruit that grows on a tree,
like an apple?) fed
In any case, we wonderful and slip in between
vigorously through the water park . After dinner we invited
then the cousin of Wilton on a coffee
to a home because they lived right next to the park. We went over
and she introduced us to her family, including her 92-year
mother, who sat behind the house in my rocking chair and we kissed and hugged for
welcome. From the coffee drinks are also arisen
funny group photos and we had to promise, send them to the
family!
Now it was back to the pousada where we deposed Sergio and Vania, then to travel further direction
Natal. There, we said goodbye to
Wilton, Luciana, Matheus and Pedro went and - back to fourth - for
(Piwi, hold tight!) Praia da Pipa, a tourist and party location.
We arrived late on there and had big problems, a Pousada to
find, as we had to drive through the jam-packed party area
and waved all the receptionists of the many hotels only
, because it seems the whole place, no free crib was .
As we had already given up and wanted to continue searching elsewhere,
ran us just before leaving the city is a sign of the way - "Temos vagas
. It was part of a hostel that was like the barmaid told us
, opened three weeks ago. There was exactly one
Quadruple - lucky!
In this hostel, we now have spent the last two nights.
It is run by some young people who come from wealthier families
and do not feel like a normal job.
in Brazil they are called "Filinhos de Papai (Daddy's boy). The head of the
hostels, a thirty-year-old reggae guitarist has us all day
tells about how hard it was to lead to such a hostel, and that he
work very, very much needed. He has actually worked. Every morning he prepared
7:00 to 9:30 breakfast for the ten
guests. Then he has a lot located in the hammock, read
and went surfing. He has done me some really suffering.
We also hung out a lot and I've finally had time
concern myself intensively with my new guitar. Right
holiday feelings are also great when using the shower under the open sky
emerged, driven by a fence made of palm leaves of the
rooms separated.
I (Sophia) have a day here really spread out, and have so
rather spend all day in the hammock. I never imagined
presented the (if it is not done voluntarily,
has since rebels my stomach pretty)
Now we are back in the car and head south to Joao Pessoa,
where we Rejani, a friend of Nadine and Luciano will visit.
I hope it has online and we mail them, in which we now write
been a few days (Thank you, iPhone), can finally send
..

We think of you and get back in time!

pressed silk,

Sophia and Beni
